Interprets the bush that Moses saw burning without being consumed on the slopes of Horeb as an image of Mary, who illuminates Christ, divine fire, keeping her virginity intact. The Virgin sends lightning, ice and earthquakes to the earth through her angels to punish the wicked. She is an eight-pointed star that forms two overlapping rhombuses. The red in the icon represents the fire and the green the bush. A woman appeared from the interior of a burning house carrying this icon in her hand, she did not have a single wound, therefore she is now considered the protector of the houses before the fire.
